What are the responsibilities and job description for the RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS COACH position at Gymnastics World, LLC?
Position: RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS TEAMS DIRECTOR
This position is one of our most important jobs! You have direct input into scheduling, hiring, training, and dismissal of instructors relating to the Rhythmic Gymnastics Programs. You must be organized, efficient, cheerful, diplomatic, presentable, and a team player. After initial training, you will have light supervision, but help is available almost anytime. The most critical aspects are developing the student’s self-esteem, monitoring each child’s progress, and maintaining open communication with parents. This position requires a high level of patience and attention to detail.
Requirements
Ø Work all possible Team Workouts and Hours available as the first Coach in the groups
Ø School Year Daily Workout Format & Scheduling Grid
Ø Defining the roles of individual Team Staff members
Ø Coaching Daily Event Assignments; Training Cycles Grid
Ø Approach to each Event & Progressions
Ø Coaches Meets Assignments
Ø Coordinating with Front Office re: Meet Entry Lists and Fees
Ø Organize Team Banquet and end-of-season bonding activities.
Ø Assist with all SKILLS by Gymnastics World, LLC and Gymnastics World, LLC-hosted Competitions
Ø Assist with Summer Gymnastics Camp
Ø New Compulsory Clinics, Regional and National Congresses
Ø Recommendations for Equipment, Mats, Pits, etc.
Ø Develop annual, prioritized goals and steps/projects toward achieving them.
Ø Ensure that the coaches for the rhythmic initiation classes are following designated systems and/or Curriculum.
Ø Provide coaches for the rhythmic initiation with the necessary training, tools, and encouragement to do their job to the best of their ability.
Ø Provide the Newsletter and administration staff/coordinators with all pertinent information regularly, especially after every meet, championship, and camp.
Ø Monitor phone and email contacts every workday.
Ø Meet & coordinate with owners as needed or requested.
Ø Keep a “focus on business”, and how your program(s) make money (i.e., Ratios, Payroll Percentages). Have a financial awareness of your Program on a Monthly and Annual basis.
Ø Help set the example at SKILLS by Gymnastics World, LLC – be known as an Upbeat, Enthusiastic, Knowledgeable, and Hardworking Individual.
Ø Help set and maintain standard attire for your program(s) and for the athletes competitions (leotards and warm-up suites).
Ø Develop relationships within the gymnastics community with individuals who can help you grow the program and improve the reputation nationwide.
Ø Facility - Propose maintenance, repairs, remodeling, and construction that would contribute to enhancing SKILLS by Gymnastics World, LLC’s image and operations.
Benefits
Ø Base gross salary $ 4,000 per Month, $ 48.000 annually.
Ø Private Lessons at 50% - 50% split.
Ø Ten days of paid vacation per year, plus paid major Holidays – After the first full year of employment.
Major holidays: Easter, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s.
Ø For full-time directors, SKILLS by Gymnastics World, LLC does offer 50% major medical health insurance after a full year of employment.
Ø SKILLS by Gymnastics World, LLC will send Directors to mutually agreed-upon educational clinics and seminars.
Ø There is no formal sick leave or personal days policy. However, reasonable consideration is given to personal emergencies that eventually arise.
Ø SKILLS by Gymnastics World, LLC does carry Workmen’s Compensation as required by law.
Ø Staff members may enroll their children in WINGS' regular programs at discounted rates established by the management team; staff families must pay the team registration fee.
