Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated All Star Coach with a strong background in tumbling and stunting to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about cheerleading or gymnastics who thrives on motivating others and helping athletes reach their full potential. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will lead training sessions, develop skills, and foster a positive environment that promotes growth, safety, and teamwork. Your expertise will inspire athletes to work hard towards goals while ensuring they perform with proper technique and confidence.
Duties
- Lead engaging tumbling and stunting classes for athletes of various skill levels, from beginners to advanced competitors
- Design and implement training programs that improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and overall performance
- Demonstrate proper techniques for tumbling , jumps, lifts, and stunts to ensure safety and effectiveness
- Monitor athlete progress closely, providing constructive feedback and personalized coaching to enhance skills while keeping it fun and engaging.
- Enforce safety protocols during all training activities, including spotting techniques and injury prevention measures
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages discipline, sportsmanship, and camaraderie
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to plan routines, competitions, and special events
Skills
- Extensive experience in tumbling, stunting, cheerleading, or gymnastics with proven success in coaching or teaching these disciplines
- Strong background in sports coaching with the ability to motivate athletes and build confidence
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to maintain focus and discipline during training sessions
- Experience working with children or students in a physical activity setting
- Familiarity with health club or gym environments to promote safe practice spaces
- Additional skills such as lifeguard experience, martial arts (Karate, Judo), swimming, climbing, or other athletic disciplines are a plus
- Excellent communication skills to clearly demonstrate techniques and provide positive reinforcement
