Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, lobbies, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Conduct routine janitorial duties such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain and operate floor care equipment including buffers and polishers to ensure high-quality shine and safety standards
- Assist with custodial tasks related to industrial or commercial cleaning projects as needed
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs or safety hazards promptly
- Keep cleaning supplies organized and replenish stock to ensure continuous operations
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a clean and hazard-free environment
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with knowledge of proper cleaning techniques
- Skilled in floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing surfaces
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and industrial cleaning practices
- Ability to perform residential painting or minor maintenance tasks as required
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
