Front Desk Sales & Operations Associate
GYFitness Training & Wellness Center | Waipahu, Hawaii
Pay: From $16.00/hr Performance Incentives
Type: Part-Time and Full-Time (10–20 Hours/Week| 20 hours/Week)
The Role
GYFitness is seeking a self-motivated, sales-driven individual to manage front desk operations and drive revenue across multiple service lines. This is not a basic check-in role — you are responsible for membership growth, client experience, and maximizing ancillary revenue (supplements, IV therapy, indoor tanning, and posing room usage).
This is a single-staffed, standing position. Reliability, independence, and attention to detail are critical.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
Drive and close sales across:
- Gym memberships
- Personal training packages
- IV therapy and vitamin injections
- Pro shop supplement sales (protein, pre-workouts, fat burners, recovery, etc.)
- Indoor tanning packages/sessions
- Private posing room bookings (bodybuilders, competitors, lifestyle clients)
Supplement & Service Sales Execution
- Recommend supplements based on client goals (fat loss, hypertrophy, recovery, performance)
- Educate members on proper supplement use, timing, and stacking
- Upsell complementary services (e.g., tanning posing room, IV recovery stack)
- Maintain strong product knowledge across all services offered
Facility Standards (Cleaning & Upkeep)
Maintain a high-standard, professional environment:
- Staff bathroom
- Men’s and Women’s member bathrooms
- Front desk, lobby, and common areas
- Light upkeep of tanning and posing room areas as needed
Operations
- Manage check-ins, sign-ups, bookings (posing room/tanning), and account updates
- Process POS transactions (memberships, retail, services)
- Execute opening/closing procedures independently
- Track and restock inventory (supplements, retail, supplies)
Member Experience
- Deliver high-level, professional customer service
- Resolve issues quickly and efficiently
- Support promotions, events, and gym initiatives
Requirements & Physicality
Reliability is the #1 priority — punctual, dependable, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working a standing shift (4–8 hours)
- Strong sales ability across multiple revenue streams
- Experience in supplement sales, fitness, wellness, or retail preferred
- Ability to confidently speak on:
- Supplementation (macros, recovery, performance)
- Aesthetic-focused services (tanning, posing prep)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- POS/computer proficiency
Schedule Availability
Facility Hours:
- Mon–Fri: 3:30 AM – 10:30 PM
- Sat/Sun: 5:30 AM – 8:30 PM
Shifts: 4–8 hours

- Weekend Availability
Work Environment
- 11,000 sq ft 24/7 training facility
- High-performance, fitness-focused clientele
- One employee per shift (independent responsibility)
