The Manager, Digital Marketing, is a core member of the Communications team. You will be responsible for driving GXO’s global website strategy as a critical platform for our brand presence and invaluable resource to express company values, engage stakeholders and drive customer demand.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Create the vision and strategy for GXO.com to fully express what the company has to offer key audiences, including customers, investors and employees
  • Manage all aspects of the website strategy and user experience, partnering closely with the Communications team and internal business partners to develop persuasive content experiences in support of business priorities
  • Develop and manage engaging content that aligns with our brand strategy and addresses the needs and interests of our multiple stakeholders with effective storytelling across multiple formats, including video, case studies, campaign content and landing pages, blogs, etc.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure the website experience effectively conveys the value and services we offer while maximizing opportunities to drive conversion and customer lead generation
  • Manage local language versions of the website with country teams
  • Maximize visibility and traffic through ongoing search engine optimization and leadership of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) agency partner
  • Design paid search strategy to drive high-quality traffic efficiently and effectively
  • Analyze site engagement and proactively recommend enhancements to ensure exceptional customer journey experience, increased traffic, content engagement and conversion
  • Analyze website metrics; clearly communicating data, insight and recommendations through ongoing reporting/KPI dashboards
  • Partner with IT to ensure effective back-end technology, development, hosting, security and domain management

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing or related field, or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 5 years of digital marketing experience with responsibility for website management
  • Working knowledge of global website best practices, including but not limited to global compliance standards, features and functionality
  • Experience with website content management systems such as WordPress
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, implementation and Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with mastery of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SEO dashboard, tracking and heatmapping tools

It’d be great if you also have:

  • 7 years of digital marketing experience with responsibility for website management
  • Passion for creative storytelling and track record of developing compelling content
  • Self-starter who takes initiative
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with diverse global teams
  • Business-to-Business (B2B) experience
  • Graphic design and creative development experience
