Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain user-friendly web interfaces using React and other frameworks
- Collaborate with other developers, end users, stakeholders, contractor teams, and project managers to create visually appealing and intuitive web pages
- Integrate backend APIs with front-end code
- Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability without compromising on user interface design and overall user experience
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development
- Lead development efforts
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- 10 years of demonstrated experience with front end software development using modern frameworks, particularly React
- Experience leading a team of developers as a lead or architect
- Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Strong familiarity with Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Experience using AI assisted workflows to increase throughput and quality
- Experience with automated test generation
- Experience building custom components and libraries
- Experience optimizing web applications for performance
- Excellent communication, client orientation, and collaboration skills
- Results-oriented team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Background in prioritization and multi-tasking in a flexible (but fast-paced) work environment
- Experience with full-stack development
- Proficient in React
- Experience in accessibility and accessibility standards, such as Section 508 Compliance and WCAG 2.1 AA
