Duties
- Safely operate a pickup truck or similar vehicle to pick up parts from suppliers and deliver them to our service department or customer locations.
- Load and unload parts using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts, ensuring items are handled carefully and securely.
- Follow designated routes efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and company policies to ensure timely deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with Vendors during pickups and drop-offs.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards; report any issues promptly.
- Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory, organizing parts, and maintaining accurate delivery logs.
- Maintain a clean driving record, demonstrate responsible driving habits, and comply with all safety regulations.
- Complete paperwork and work orders, bill parts and manage inventory levels
Experience
- Previous delivery driver experience
- Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and heavy lifting techniques.
- Experience in customer service roles that require clear communication and professionalism.
- Warehouse experience including operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to moving heavy items and operating warehouse equipment.
