We are seeking a Compliance Coordinator to ensure all company operations, records, and processes comply with federal, state, and local laws governing the manufacturing, distribution, and sale of firearms, ammunition, and related accessories. This role will play a critical part in maintaining proper licensing, record keeping, serialized inventory control, and reporting practices in alignment with Federal Firearms License (FFL) requirements, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) regulations, and the National Firearms Act (NFA).
The ideal candidate will bring a computer science or systems background to help modernize compliance tracking, reporting, and data integration processes, while working closely with the Compliance Manager and other internal teams.

This role will play a critical part in maintaining proper licensing, record keeping, serialized inventory control, and reporting practices in alignment with Federal Firearms License (FFL) requirements, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) regulations, and the National Firearms Act (NFA).
The ideal candidate will bring a computer science or systems background to help modernize compliance tracking, reporting, and data integration processes, while working closely with the Compliance Manager and other internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Institute and follow best practices to ensure the Company’s full compliance with federal, state and local firearm, ammunition and related accessories regulations.
- Maintain and audit Acquisition & Disposition (A&D) bound book and other FFL records.
- Assist with ATF inspections, audits, and correspondence, including preparing records and responding to agency requests promptly and accurately.
- Coordinate and track NFA firearm manufacturing and transfers, including Form 1, Form 2, Form 3, Form 4, and Form 5 processing.
- Manage and navigate federal electronic registration and licensing systems (e.g., SAM, eFAST, or other government portals) to ensure compliance and maintain up-to-date company credentials.
- Manage serialized inventory tracking systems and reconcile with physical inventory to prevent discrepancies.
- Stay current with changes in federal and state firearms laws and inform management of operational impacts.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, shipping, and sales teams to ensure all firearms are manufactured, transferred, and distributed in accordance with applicable laws.
- Help oversee firearms serialization, marking, and proper record assignment.
- Train employees on firearms compliance policies and procedures.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for compliance workflows.
- Maintain and track T&Es
- Coordinate any incoming serialized items.
- File required reports to the ATF or other regulatory bodies as needed.
- Assist in the checking, allocation and shipping of all serialized items.
- Oversee the movement of all serialized items incoming, outgoing and location to location.
Qualifications
- Must possess strong communication and leadership skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word) and inventory/ERP systems
- 2 years of experience in regulatory compliance, manufacturing, firearms, or related field
- Detail oriented.
- Working knowledge of ATF regulations and the National Firearms Act
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organization skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
- Proactive in identifying and solving problems
- Ability to legally possess firearms under applicable laws.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must know basic firearm safety.
- Must be able to pass criminal background test and drug test.
- Must be punctual, meticulous, and reliable.
- Positive attitude.
