Process Control Associate (Water Production)

Job Description
The incumbent oversees the day-to-day maintenance of computerized plant automation and control systems for DWR Water Production facilities. This is a very technical position responsible for monitoring software and identification of problems with hardware/software in various control systems at the facilities as well as overall integrations between the systems. This includes the Distributive Control System (DCS), Wonderware Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and various process control instrumentation. The position may have supervisory responsibility over other techs performing work in the field.

Grade
The grade for this position is C41(1). Salary will be dependent on education and experience.
 
Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.
 
Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, AND
• Two years of electronics experience; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
