Gwinnett Institute in Orlando, Florida is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Evening Ultrasound Technician Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of ultrasound courses to students in our Ultrasound Technician Program during the evenings.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality ultrasound courses to students in a classroom setting during the day
- Providing hands-on instruction and supervision in ultrasound labs
- Developing course content and teaching materials
- Preparing and grading assignments, tests, and exams
- Maintaining accurate student records and tracking student progress
- Staying current with advances in ultrasound technology and teaching methods
- Providing academic advising to students as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Current certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an ultrasound technician
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to teach and mentor students effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in using instructional technology and learning management systems
