Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Asheboro, NC. GW Trailer Sales is seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic/Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of trailers. Responsibilities include brake, axle, suspension, electrical, welding, and general mechanical repairs, as well as performing routine maintenance and safety inspections. The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical experience, strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver’s license required; experience with trailers and heavy equipment necessary.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical and technical skills, including diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems
- Proficiency in basic tool handling, welding, and fabrication techniques
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety
- Prior experience in trailer or automotive repair and maintenance
