Strategic Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technology (IT) Procurement Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various procurement tasks, ensuring accurate data management, and facilitating efficient procurement processes. The role involves collaboration with the finance team, sourcing team, and other stakeholders to maintain smooth operations. This role will report directly to the Technology Procurement Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with monitoring and analyzing supplier rebates to ensure accurate processing and tracking.
• Assist with various tasks assigned within the Technology Procurement Operations team.
• Handle and file tasks related to the Technology Procurement Inbox as assigned.
• Assist in creating and maintaining procurement-related dashboards.
• Conduct market research and gather data to support the Sourcing team.
• Provide analytical support for RFx processes and negotiations.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate supplier data.
• Assist with updating and analyzing supplier spend data.
• Process and create purchase requisitions (PRs) on behalf of the Technology Procurement team as needed.
• Facilitate the coding and processing of invoices handled by the Technology Procurement team.
• Assist with Technology purchasing ticket intake and complete tasks supported by documented processes.
• Facilitate the filing and management of contracts and documents.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in procurement operations or a similar role. Experience in Technology Procurement is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, SAP Ariba, Esker and Cognos).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $34.48 per hour
