GVH Distribution looking to add an experienced Pricing Analyst to our team!

The Pricing Analyst will be an integral part of our GVH Distribution team.
The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for:
- Implementing and reviewing the set-up of customer and vendor agreements
- Verifying the accuracy of the contract set-up in the pricing system to the terms and conditions contained within the agreement
- Communicating with suppliers, brokers, customers and internal sales personnel to ensure timely and accurate pricing
- Ensuring proper documentation exists for all agreements
- Conducting audits on various pricing parameters loaded into the pricing system to verify accuracy across multiple customer contracts and vendor pricing arrangements
- Determining the origin of discrepancies and work with other departments in the communication and resolution
- Preparing various ad-hoc reporting for use by vendors and customers
- Assisting with managing and maintaining the corporate pricing system
- Meeting or exceeding all profit margin objectives as established in cooperation with the Senior Management Team
- Maintaining and updating pricing system throughout the organization
- Assisting with pricing strategy formulation as well as take pricing actions to enhance profitability
- Properly communicating any pricing updates, POD’s, and into stock pricing
- Properly notifying customers of any updates to existing and future product in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma required
- Skill and knowledge to identify and prioritize financial, situational, and relational problems with vendors and customers and the ability to solve the problems
- The financial knowledge to understand pricing strategy formulation and rebates
- Ability to write and oversee the writing of reports necessary to pricing updates, rebates, and/or incentives (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; SPECIFICALLY MICROSOFT EXCEL (MUST BE EFFICIENT WITH V-LOOKUPS AND PIVOT TABLES)
