GVH Distribution, Part-time Special Projects Assistant
Location: On-Site in Lubbock, TX
GVH Distribution, part of the GVH Family of Companies, is looking to hire a Part-time Special Projects Assistant to support our Special Projects Manager with sales tracking, data analysis, customer service, and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for a college student who wants to gain hands-on business experience while completing their degree.
Job Details:
- Part-time: 20–25 hours per week (not to exceed 30)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Pay: $19.00 per hour
From analyzing sales data and preparing reports to working with vendors, you’ll have the opportunity to see how different parts of the business come together to serve our customers effectively.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with tracking sales, gross profit, and project progress.
- Prepare presentations, spreadsheets, and reports for management.
- Handle customer and vendor inquiries via phone and email.
- Maintain customer order guides and pricing updates.
- Perform general office duties and special assignments as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Currently pursuing a business-related degree.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, etc.) and Data Entry.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to team success.
