Overview
As a Remodeling and/or Landscaping professional with Guys and Gals Homes, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality services in various construction and home improvement projects inside and out. This role requires a versatile skill set and the ability to work independently, ensuring customer satisfaction through meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail. You will be part of a team with goals, responsible for executing a range of tasks that may include flooring installation, carpentry, plumbing, light electrical, finishing, and drywall work. We also run a busy Landscaping route with established and new customers during this vibrant Spring/Summer season. Basic skills needed include, Mowing, trimming, weedeating, blowing, and pressure washing. We also do Larger Paver and Hardscaing projects. The opportunities are endless
Responsibilities
- Execute flooring installation projects with precision and care.
- Supply your own hand and small power tools effectively for various construction tasks.
- Hang doors with proper alignment and functionality.
- Lay tiles in kitchens, bathrooms, or other areas according to design plans.
- Install drywall efficiently while ensuring smooth finishes ready for painting or decoration.
- Knowledge of Framing and Carpentry
- Painting and apply caulking to seal gaps and joints for improved insulation and aesthetics.
- Basic electric/plumbing experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in flooring installation, hardscaping, patios, landscaping or related fields is preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction principles and practices.
- Proficiency in welding techniques is a plus but not mandatory.
- Owning hand tools and their safe operation is essential.
- Experience in door hanging, painting, carpentry, tile laying, drywall installation, and caulking is highly desirable.
- Lawn Maintenance experience(if interested in that aspect of Business)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and understand their needs clearly.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship on every project undertaken.
