What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Production Manager position at Guy Roofing?
The Residential Production Manager oversees all aspects of the company’s residential job production—including, but not limited to, gutters, siding, windows and reroofs. This role ensures all projects are completed safely, on time, on budget, and within the scope of work. You will enforce owner, company, and OSHA requirements, ensure adherence to manufacturer specifications, and maintain our high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all projects and crews for gutters, siding, windows, and reroofs to ensure timely, budgetcompliant completion.
- Select and assign crews to job sites and evaluate their ongoing performance.
- Oversee installations to guarantee quality standards are met or exceeded.
- Enforce manufacturer requirements and specifications on every job.
- Communicate with homeowners regarding project updates and address concerns quickly and effectively.
- Establish site procedures to minimize disruption to homeowners and local businesses.
- Respond promptly to phone calls and electronic messages.
- Schedule and organize jobs at a high level to meet company financial goals.
- Track time and materials to ensure all labor and costs are coded to the correct jobs.
- Investigate and resolve major budget variances.
- Handle administrative duties including data entry, scanning, photocopying, and word processing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline, or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- Working knowledge of current industry technologies, products, and installation practices for residential exteriors (gutters, siding, windows and roofing).
- Valid Driver's License with satisfactory driving record
- Flexibility to travel as needed
