Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of fine dining and casual restaurant operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and adherence to brand standards.
- Lead staff training initiatives to enhance culinary skills, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency.
- Manage inventory control processes, including food handling, food production, and supply ordering to minimize waste and optimize costs.
- Supervise kitchen management activities such as food preparation, cooking, and food safety compliance to maintain top-quality standards.
- Utilize POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting.
- Conduct shift management duties including scheduling, supervising staff performance, and resolving customer issues promptly.
- Implement food safety protocols in accordance with health regulations and ensure staff compliance through ongoing training.
- Support catering, banquet events, bar operations, and other hospitality services to deliver comprehensive guest experiences.
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, and developing team members to build a motivated and skilled workforce.
- Monitor budget adherence while maintaining high service standards; contribute to overall restaurant management strategies.
Skills
- Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry best practices.
- Proven management skills with a background in hospitality management or restaurant supervision.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transactions and reporting.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Skilled in inventory control, food handling safety procedures, and food production processes.
- Leadership qualities with experience in staff training & development, team management, and shift supervision.
- Familiarity with budgeting principles within a restaurant or hospitality setting; ability to manage costs effectively.
- Experience in catering services, banquet operations or casual dining environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail under pressure.
