POSITION SUMMARY:
This role will match and analyze daily movements in the ETRM system and collaborate with team members across the organization to resolve exceptions. It will include entering/maintaining deals and automatcher rules, matching movements to generate billing and payable transactions, and analyzing the results of all daily activity. This position is exempt and reports to the Manager of Operational Accounting. The position is located in Belle Vernon, PA.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Create and/or match all daily movements.
- Prepare and analyze daily accounting transaction reports.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve automatic matching exceptions.
- Create and maintain automatcher rules in the ETRM system.
- Reconcile daily delivered gallons and related fees to ensure all product, freight, and accessorials are billed accurately.
- Create and update deals for new products, customers, and locations.
- Compile supporting detail for audit requests.
- Assist with month end duties and adhere to assigned deadlines.
- Perform other duties and ad hoc analysis as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university, or comparable work experience.
- Strong attention to details.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to listen to others, express ideas both orally and in writing, and provide relevant and timely information to clients, managers, etc.
- Ability to understand problems and make timely, practical business decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize work assignments.
- Strong computer skills, including experience working with Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Proficiency in Excel is essential. Must know how to use VLOOKUP’s and Pivot Tables.
- Typical 40-hour work week. However, the incumbent must be able to work flexible hours from time to time as needed.
- This position is hybrid 2 days remote, 3 days in the office.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of experience working with an ERP or trading software strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics preferred.
- Experience working with RightAngle or similar ETRM system preferred.
- Experience in oil & gas industry or related commodity fields preferred.
