• $18.00 starting pay (job pay scale $18.00 - $25.00 (hourly))

Work Schedule / Hours

• Monday - Friday
• 8 hours/day
• Start work: between 7:15 am – 8:00 am
• End work: between 3:45 pm – 4:00 pm
• Overtime available: must be approved

Sick Pay (24 hours/per year carryover)

Job Overview

Seamstress Full-time Position - motorcycle seat covers - Must Have Experience using industrial sewing machines, pattern matching, sewing. Hourly pay rate.

*Must be reliable and responsible. Work at a steady pace and complete all orders with quality.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Sew utilizing all available industrial sewing machines.
• Follow established patterns and specifications, and create new patterns and specifications as necessary.
• Follow established processes and procedures.
• Maintain a well-organized and clean personal work space.
• Maintain well-organized and clean shared work spaces.
• Communicate with sewing lead and/or facility manager to reorder materials and supplies.
• Assist in managing through-put to ensure work is completed timely
• Assist with facility cleaning.
• Other duties as assigned by management
• Lift and/or move up to 20 pounds unassisted (throughout the day, floor to table, or carrying load up ladder).
• Work in a manufacturing environment with constant exposure to varying noise levels
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards
• Work under direct supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Pay close attention to detail and quality
• Show up for work on time
• Willing to cross train and work in other departments

Basic Qualifications

• Capable of working with heavy fabric and hardware.
• Capable of following established patterns and specifications.
• Capable of lifting and handling elements that can weigh up to 20 pounds each.
• Sewing machine operation.
• Willingness to learn and be flexible.
• Strong Work Ethic.
• Proven attention to detail.
• Self-starter with willingness to do whatever is necessary to support the team.
• Demonstrated good judgement and a high degree of integrity.
• A history of continuing professional and personal development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
