As the Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management and possess excellent communication and leadership skills.
What Are We Looking For?
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Plan, develop, and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels.
- Maintain accurate documentation of safety incidents, inspections, training, and corrective actions.
- Partner with management to develop and execute strategies that enhance overall safety performance.
- Monitor and interpret regulatory updates, industry trends, and best practices in occupational health and safety.
- Provide expert guidance and support to employees and leadership on safety-related issues.
What Do We Want To See?
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance standards.
- Proven ability to conduct thorough root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
- Skilled in developing and delivering effective safety training programs.
- Excellent written communication skills, with experience preparing detailed reports and documentation.
- OSHA 500 and OSHA 30 certifications (OSHA 30 must be current within the last 2 years).
- Current First Aid/CPR certification required.
- Minimum of 10 years of safety management experience in commercial or industrial environments.
