Highlights of the Position
- Outpatient, office-based role with no nights, weekends, or call
- Focus on pancreatic cystic lesions, premalignant conditions, hereditary cancer risk, and cancer surveillance
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of gastroenterologists, surgeons, radiologists, oncologists, and genetic counselors
- Participate in tumor boards, specialty team meetings, and cancer care planning conferences
- Serve as a consistent point of contact and advocate for patients navigating complex care
- Division support for pursuing accreditation in Genetic Counseling
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensed in Pennsylvania
- Certification through ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA as applicable
- 2 years of clinical experience in gastroenterology, oncology, or hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) care preferred; new graduates with strong interest in oncology will be considered
- Experience with advanced imaging review (CT, MRI, EUS) and familiarity with pancreatic pathology preferred
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and team collaboration skills
