Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases in a friendly, professional manner
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision
- Upsell products and promote store specials or new items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, including stocking shelves and merchandising displays when needed
- Conduct product demos or provide product information to help customers make informed decisions
- Follow phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing registers accurately
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service standards
