At Guthrie’s Ace Handyman Services, we have proudly served Middle Tennessee since 1951 with one simple promise: bringing helpful to your home. As a Customer Service Scheduling Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering that promise every day.

We’re looking for an organized, personable, and dependable Customer Service & Scheduling Manager to be a key part of our growing handyman service business.

This position is the first point of contact for many of our customers. You’ll answer incoming calls, respond to customer inquiries, learn about the work they need completed, help determine how much time the project may require, and schedule the right handyman for the job.

We need someone who is great with people, comfortable on the phone, organized, and able to think through home repair and maintenance projects.

What You’ll Do

• Answer incoming customer calls and provide excellent customer service

• Respond to new leads and inquiries by phone and email

• Ask customers detailed questions about their handyman and home-repair needs

• Review customer descriptions and photos to understand the scope of work

• Help estimate how much technician time should be scheduled for each project

• Schedule jobs with the appropriate handyman based on skills, availability, location, and project requirements

• Manage and adjust the daily schedule as jobs change throughout the day

• Follow up with prospective customers and help turn inquiries into booked appointments

• Confirm appointments and keep customers informed of scheduling changes

• Enter accurate customer and job information into ServiceTitan

• Maintain detailed notes so our handymen arrive prepared for each job

• Communicate with our field team throughout the day

• Follow up with customers and help resolve questions or concerns

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication and follow-up

• Highly organized and detail-oriented

• Comfortable managing multiple customers, jobs, and schedules at the same time

• Confident asking questions and gathering information from customers

• Able to think through a home-repair project and estimate how much technician time it may require

• Comfortable using computers, email, scheduling software, and CRM systems

• Dependable and accountable

• Able to work independently and make good decisions

• Positive, professional attitude

Experience We’d Love to See

• 2-4 years of customer service, scheduling, or administrative support experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, and Sheets)

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment

• Availability to work full-time Monday through Friday

• Reliable transportation to the Nashville office

• Willingness to complete a background check

ServiceTitan experience is highly preferred.

Experience in handyman services, construction, remodeling, property maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, restoration, or another home-service business would also be a major plus.

Previous experience with customer service, dispatching, scheduling technicians, inside sales, or estimating home-service work is especially valuable.
