Responsibilities
- Safely transport food from the kitchen to tables or designated areas, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Assist servers by delivering drinks, utensils, and other items to enhance guest service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas to uphold health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely delivery of orders
- Support food handling procedures in compliance with food safety regulations
- Buss tables when needed, clearing dishes and resetting tables efficiently for new guests
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by culinary staff or supervisors
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and proper sanitation practices
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience with banquet service, catering, or hotel hospitality enhances your candidacy
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced setting
- Basic culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- A positive attitude combined with excellent guest service skills ensures success in this role
