Position Overview:

As a Cook, you'll prepare and cook menu items to Gus Snug's standards, ensuring every plate is consistent, delicious, and timely. You'll maintain a clean and organized workstation, follow recipes, and work closely with other kitchen staff to deliver great guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, season, and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.

• Ensure food is cooked and presented to meet quality expectations.

• Work efficiently to keep up with guest orders during busy service times.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas.

• Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines.

• Assist in receiving, rotating, and storing food supplies.

• Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

• Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred, but willing to train the right person.

• Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment and safety practices.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
