Superintendent – Manufacturing & Distribution Center (Wilmer, TX)
Our client, a leading construction management services firm, is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities at a large manufacturing and distribution campus. This role is responsible for field leadership, scheduling, safety, quality, and coordination of all trade partners to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary on-site contact for owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
- Lead day-to-day field operations, including project planning, scheduling, logistics, and quality control.
- Oversee and develop field staff; ensure subcontractor performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Manage site safety program, permits, inspections, and regulatory requirements (including Stormwater Compliance).
- Maintain project budget, general conditions, WIP billing, and documentation.
- Coordinate work across all trades, resolve field issues, and ensure installations meet contract documents.
What We’re Looking For
- 5–8 years of superintendent or related construction experience (industrial, manufacturing, or distribution preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, drawings, specifications, scheduling, and cost control.
- Effective leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Procore, and Viewpoint (AutoCAD a plus).
- Ability to drive results, uphold safety, and collaborate with diverse teams.
