Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager to lead and execute engineering projects within the construction and energy equipment sectors. This role offers an opportunity to manage multidisciplinary projects from inception through completion, ensuring product excellence, adherence to schedules, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, knowledge of metal fabrication, material processing, welding, and machining combined with exceptional project management skills. Ability to coordinate teams, oversee design and construction phases, and deliver innovative solutions that meet regulatory standards and project specifications.
Duties
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Oversee construction management activities including site inspections, quality assurance, safety compliance, and progress monitoring.
- Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, Drafting tools to produce accurate drawings, and details.
- Manage project documentation including technical writing of reports, progress updates, change orders, and system schematics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience managing engineering projects within fabrication or machine shop setting.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles as well as hands-on experience with fabrication and machining.
- Proficiency with CAD software, 3D modeling, and Microsoft office software.
- Familiarity with load calculations, stress analysis, hydraulic systems, and basic electrical systems.
- Ability to generate detailed technical reports covering system and product design.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and managing client relationships.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
