We are currently seeking a Restorative CNA who will embody the passion and commitment required to deliver the ultimate care for our residents.Full-time day shift to be scheduled Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:15pm with working holidays.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:High School graduate preferred. Current New York State Nursing Assistant CertificationPrior experience in a geriatric or rehabilitation setting preferred.REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: Assist in ROM and group exercise programs. Help with group and individual transfer activities. Offer support in group and individual ambulation classes. Set-up and supervision of an appropriate client population and caseload. Maintain a level of supplies and assist in the requisition of additional supplies. Actively participates in the departmental Performance Improvement Program. Provides input for policy and procedural review.Knowledge of the dementia population and dealing with related behaviors. Able to recognize when a resident is in pain and takes appropriate actions.
