Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and facilities maintenance, ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in designated areas.
- Conduct floor care activities including buffing and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Assist with residential painting projects as needed to enhance the appearance of spaces.
- Carry out industrial cleaning duties to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in facilities by following established cleaning schedules and protocols.
- Provide custodial support for events or special projects as required.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, custodial services, or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Experience in porter services or industrial cleaning environments will be beneficial.
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards are essential for success in this role.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve common goals.
