Mechanical Drafting Assistant
- Develops Revit system designs and documentation
- Uses design and modeling software to support requests given during pursuit and the award of plumbing & HVAC projects
- Collaborates with estimators, project managers, engineers, BIM Modelers, architects, and GUNTHERS clients
- Determines the proper elements and scale for construction sites
- Gathers and analyze data on costs, materials, and labor
- Meets deadlines while modeling GUNTHERS exceptional standard of quality
- Supports Project Manager in additional tasks as needed
- 1-2 years of HVAC design experience required*
- Proficient experience or knowledge in Autodesk Revit software
- Bachelor’s degree or attending school in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or other related fields preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills
- Time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to understand technical drawings and plans and ability to create verifiable reports and exhibits
- Keen attention to detail
