Duties
- Maintain and enhance the golf course landscape through mowing, edging, trimming, and planting to ensure an attractive and healthy environment
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, chainsaws, power tools, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules, troubleshoot issues, and perform system adjustments for optimal turf health
- Perform regular turf care activities such as aeration, fertilization, overseeding, and pest management to promote lush fairways and greens
- Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of equipment or materials, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Assist with athletic field groundskeeping tasks when needed to support other sports or community events on the course or adjacent fields
- Maintain equipment through routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs to ensure longevity and reliable operation
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, horticulture, or groundskeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively; familiarity with lawn care equipment such as mowers, chainsaws, trimmers is advantageous
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and pesticide management practices is a plus
- Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety procedures related to power tool use and equipment maintenance
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles or grounds maintenance equipment preferred
- A proactive attitude with excellent teamwork skills and a passion for outdoor aesthetics
