Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the products they need, including firearms, hunting gear, and related merchandise.
- Operate POS systems and cash registers accurately to process transactions efficiently.
- Maintain organized merchandise displays through effective merchandising techniques to enhance product visibility and appeal.
- Handle phone communications professionally, providing information and support to customers and vendors as needed.
- Support outdoor work activities related to stock management, product placement, and inventory organization.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards when handling firearms or hunting equipment.
- Assist in inventory management by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and conducting regular stock checks.
- Provide knowledgeable guidance on products to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor to create an inviting shopping environment.
Qualifications
- Previous outdoor work experience is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working with POS systems and cash registers is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for phone interactions and customer service.
- Ability to handle retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Knowledge of pawn shops, hunting equipment, firearms, or related products is a plus but not required.
