Culinary Production Supervisor
Assist the Culinary Services Supervisor to ensure high quality food production and the overall success of the GVH Culinary department. Assist with budgeting, ordering, delivery and preparation of foods. In addition, this position will help provide direction to the kitchen staff on nutrition, portions, menus, work methods, and staffing levels.

Requirements:
To be seriously considered for this role, you’ll need to have:
- Education: A degree in Culinary Arts, Certified Dietary Manager (CDM accreditation, or a relevant combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Experience: Three to five years of culinary experience in a health care setting preferred. Must be knowledgeable of USDA and HACCP food safety guidelines, particularity as they pertain to Health Care Facilities and specific diet orders. Must demonstrate the ability to work in a collaborative, consensus building atmosphere.
- Licenses/Certification: Accreditation as Certified Dietary Manager preferred. Safe-Serve certification, or willingness to enroll in HACCP training required.
Responsibilities:
We are committed to improving the health of our community by delivering exceptional patient care and service. As part of the team in the Culinary Department, you will:
- Develop and maintain constructive communication and working relationships with Culinary Department staff, GVH staff, patients and their families.
- Assist that Culinary Services Supervisor in the supervision, evaluation, and training of culinary services personnel.
- Help to monitor and enforce sanitary standards, assist with menu development, order supplies and organize storage spaces.
- Ensure that regular and fluid communication among the culinary services team by providing regular communication about goals and expectations.
- Help Supervisor ensure that patient nutritional needs are being met in accordance with state, federal and Joint Commission regulations.
- Assist in the creation, implementation, review and enforcement of department and facility policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements:

Compensation: $21.89 - $26.81/hr, depending on experience.
