Retail Relationship Banker

Gunnison Savings and Loan is accepting applications for a RETAIL RELATIONSHIP BANKER. We have served the Gunnison Valley for over 115 years and are looking for an individual who wants a career in banking. This position requires the ability to work as part of a team, set priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Time management and organization skills

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word

· Mathematical skills for calculating payments and interest

· High school diploma or equivalent, with some banking or financial experience preferred

Responsibilities

· Support branch operations by processing transactions and opening new accounts as needed.

· Identify customer financial needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.

· Develop and maintain long-term lending and depository relationships with the bank's customers and business/community partners.

· Compiles loan packages and facilitate negotiations of loan structures with applicants, including fees, loan repayment options and other credit terms.

· Ensure loan agreements are complete and accurate according to loan policy.

· Assures timely loan closing and funding activities.

· Monitor delinquent loan accounts and make follow-up calls to collect past due payments.

· Contribute to achieving deposit and loan growth objectives according to the association’s asset & liability management strategy.

· Participate in community outreach and networking activities to attract new customers and strengthen existing relationships. Maintaining work papers for audits and examinations

· Perform other duties as assigned
