What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey Party Chief (Construction) position at Gunnin Land Surveying?
Job Summary
Gunnin Land Surveying is seeking an experienced Survey Crew Chief to lead a field crew toward completion of construction layout projects.
Job Expectations:
- Gather accurate and complete survey data in a timely manner
- Establish and maintain accurate control throughout the duration of the project
- Stake infrastructure accurately for residential and commercial projects
- Complete all aspects construction layout and as-built surveys with little to no oversight
- Work well with team and supervisors
- Report time on a daily basis
Job requirements:
- Must be proficient with Survey Pro Software or Trimble Access software
- Must be proficient in the use of Trimble Robotic Total Stations/GPS
- Must have valid Georgia Driver's License
- Must have at least 3 (verifiable) years of experience as a Crew Chief/Party Chief
- Must be willing and able to conduct minor survey tasks (for demonstration of knowledge) prior to employment
- Must be able to walk extended distances across uneven terrain and safely lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
