As a Level 2 Trauma Center, the Surgery Department is a fast-paced unit with 18 state-of-the-art operating rooms and 2 labor and delivery suites with cutting-edge surgical equipment. We provide a wide range of surgical procedures, including robotic-assisted and minimally invasive surgeries to populations ranging from neonates to adults. The multidisciplinary team includes RNs, surgeons, anesthesia staff, and surgical technologists. As a nurse, you will play a direct role in providing LOVE MEDICINE for a broad range of patients in the Operating Room. Registered Nurses in the OR circulate and may scrub for surgeries while caring for patient’s one-on-one being their advocate and anticipating their needs during the surgery.

What You Will Do
- Fulltime, 72 hours every two weeks (0.9 FTE)
- 12-hour shift: primarily day shifts (6:15am-6:45pm) with occasional night or weekend shifts as needed per unit need (cover PTO, FML, or vacations)
- During orientation you will be scheduled for 9-hour shifts
- Night and Weekend call rotation. Call response time is 60 minutes or less
- Holiday Rotation: 1-2 holidays per year
- Starting pay of $38.01/hr and up, based on your years of experience, as well as generous shift/weekend/holiday differentials
- Departmental leadership that supports you as you do your best work including a Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL), Clinical Managers, Professional Development Nurse, and Quality Improvement Specialist Nurse

- An active RN license to work in Wisconsin
- Current BLS for Health Care Providers
- Prior RN experience is strongly preferred
