Location: La Crosse, WI
Schedule: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
Hours: 8-hour shifts between 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM. No weekends, holidays, or call obligation
Position Overview
Join a highly specialized Electrophysiology (EP) team providing advanced cardiac care in a collaborative, high-performing environment. This role blends procedural coordination, patient education, and clinical nursing responsibilities with a mix of phone-based and in-person care.
You’ll work closely with cardiology physicians and advanced practice clinicians to support patients undergoing EP procedures such as device implants and ablations, helping elevate the level of nursing practice in a subspecialty setting.

Position Overview

You’ll work closely with cardiology physicians and advanced practice clinicians to support patients undergoing EP procedures such as device implants and ablations, helping elevate the level of nursing practice in a subspecialty setting.
What You Will Do
- Manage triage phone communications and patient in-basket messages
- Coordinate and prepare patients for EP procedures including:
- Pacemakers
- Implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs)
- Ablations
- Cardioversions
- Provide pre-procedural education
- Support medication management and follow-up care
- Collaborate closely with EP physicians and APCs on patient’s plan of care
- Balance of phone-based care coordination with direct patient interaction
- RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin
- Minimum of Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year RN experience, knowledge in cardiology required
- Understanding of cardiac rhythms and terminology highly valued
- Starting pay of $34.65 more for experience
- Work in a highly specialized cardiology subspecialty
