We are seeking a motivated and responsible Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. Duties
- Safely operate a range of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbed, and tractor-trailers with manual transmissions
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, ensuring secure handling and proper placement
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Drive on scheduled routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies to ensure timely deliveries
- Perform heavy lifting as needed during loading, unloading, or equipment setup activities
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly
Experience
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the types of trucks operated
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with heavy-duty trucks such as dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers
- Familiarity with mechanical systems of trucks and basic troubleshooting skills
- Hands-on experience operating front loader, rear loader, roll-off, or similar specialized trucks preferred
- Demonstrated ability to perform manual lifting safely in accordance with safety standards
- Delivery driver experience involving load & unload procedures highly desirable
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for heavy vehicle operation
