Technical Lead (3D Printing / CAD / Manufacturing)

Gun Dog Armory is expanding into advanced additive manufacturing and product development. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to help develop, manufacture, and improve innovative products using 3D printing and modern design software.

• Create, modify, and optimize 3D models using CAD software
• Prepare and manage files for 3D printing
• Operate, monitor, and maintain 3D printers
• Troubleshoot print failures and improve print quality
• Assist with product design, prototyping, and testing
• Document manufacturing processes and procedures
• Maintain production schedules and quality standards
• Organize digital files and design documentation
• Research new materials, equipment, and manufacturing techniques
• Collaborate with management on new product development projects
• Assist with scaling prototypes into production-ready products

• Experience with Fusion 360, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software
• Experience with FDM 3D printing (Bambu Labs experience is a plus)
• Understanding of manufacturing principles and quality control
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Experience with additive manufacturing, engineering, machining, or product development is preferred

• Engineering, manufacturing, or technical education
• Product design experience
• CAM programming experience
• CNC machining experience
• Laser engraving or laser cutting experience
• Small business or startup experience
• Experience documenting technical processes and procedures
