Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Trailer Shop Mechanic located in Quincy, IL. The Trailer Shop Mechanic will be responsible for conducting maintenance and repairs on trailers and heavy equipment, performing preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation and accurately diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues. This role requires attention to detail, a focus on safety standards, and a commitment to keeping equipment in excellent condition.

Qualifications

• Experience with Heavy Equipment operations and repairs
• Must have your own tools
• Previous experience in trailer or heavy equipment maintenance is preferred
• Proficiency in Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance
• Strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues
• Technical knowledge of trailer systems and mechanical components
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently to complete tasks
• Commitment to safety and adherence to company maintenance standards
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus

Hours

• Tuesday to Friday - 1am to 9:30pm
• Saturday - 8am to 4:30pm
