Tax Senior Manager | Tax Advisor

Gulla CPA is building a national advisory firm focused on proactive tax planning for established business owners generating $3M to $50M in revenue. Our clients value strategy, not just filings. They expect forward looking insight while staying compliant with tax laws.

We are seeking a tax professional with 10 years of public accounting experience who understands that tax compliance looks backward and tax advisory looks forward.

The Opportunity

This role is designed for a leader who wants to move beyond preparation and review work and into true advisory impact.

You will:

• Lead proactive, year round tax planning engagements
• Design and implement advanced tax strategies for closely held businesses and high income owners
• Oversee complex multi entity and multi state structures
• Review returns through a strategic lens, not just technical accuracy
• Participate in high level client decision making conversations
• Mentor Managers and Senior Consultants
• Contribute to firm growth initiatives and advisory process development

This is a visible leadership role with direct access to firm leadership.

What We Are Looking For

• 10 years of public accounting experience
• Deep experience in tax advisory, not just tax compliance
• Strong understanding of entity structuring, multi state taxation, and advanced planning strategies
• Confidence leading client conversations
• Desire to think long term and build something meaningful
• CPA license required

Compensation and Long Term Opportunity

We believe compensation should reflect impact. Our structure includes a strong base salary and a performance bonus tied directly to advisory leadership, revenue contribution, and long term client value. There is meaningful upside for professionals who grow with the firm and take ownership of results.

Compensation range varies by market and experience level. Details will be discussed transparently during the interview process.
