Responsibilities
- Lead the pre-construction phase for mechanical projects, ensuring accurate design and engineering assessments.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget estimations.
- Oversee project execution from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to design specifications and timelines.
- Designed and implemented complex mechanical systems, focusing on plumbing, piping, and HVAC for large projects.
- Utilize industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam to create detailed design plans.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
- A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required. EIT or PE licenses are preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in design, project management, or pre-construction within the mechanical contracting industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and other relevant software is desirable. Experience with building automation systems is also highly desirable.
- Proven track record of working on large-scale projects, particularly those involving plumbing, piping, and HVAC systems.
- Candidates must be local to Orange County and demonstrate a stable work history.
