We are a growing marine dealer in search of an experienced Marine Outboard Technician. Factory training and other benefits are available to a qualified employee.
Job Description
- Efficiently diagnose and repair all makes of outboard motors, boats, and electrical components
- Look up and retrieve parts as they apply to the job
- Operate and dock boats safely
- Operate shop equipment, including forklift, to maneuver boats in yard
Job Requirements
- Must have tools, drivers license, and transportation to and from work
- Must have experience performing outboard and electrical repair
- Must have experience rigging and wiring boats
- Must be willing to learn new technologies and repair techniques
- Must work well with others
- Must be willing to work some weekends
Desired Experience
- Technical school training and factory certifications
- Experience with Honda outboard motors
- Experience working on all makes and models of outboards
- Several years in the marine field
- Desire to work hard and be accountable in all responsibilities
- Efficient and quality diagnostic ability
- Good people skills
