Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Manager to lead our RV inspection team and ensure every RV vehicle meets the highest standards before delivery to customers. In this role, you will oversee the comprehensive inspection process, coordinate repairs, and verify that all vehicles are safe, functional, and ready for customer use. Your leadership will drive quality assurance, streamline operations, and enhance customer satisfaction by delivering impeccably inspected vehicles every time. Responsibilities:
- Manage our Pre-Delivery Inspection team, make sure they are properly and safely inspecting the RV’s correctly.
- Oversee minor repairs and ensure all manufacturer (OEM) standards are met.
- Develop and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to minimize rework and improve efficiency.
- Must be able to Inspect and verify that all appliances, electrical, plumbing, propane, andmechanical systems are fully operational, including identifying leaks and structural issues.
- Make sure audit sheets and rain sheets are written up correctly.
- Communicate to plant managers any issues.
- Keeping logs and reports of units PDI’d and issues we are seeing and sending those reports to the proper personnel.
- Attend meetings when needed.
- Drive and move units.
- Use ladders and mechanic creepers to inspect units
- Coordinate with inventory and sales departments to prioritize units for inspection and meet delivery schedules.
- Ensure all PDI checklists are accurately completed and documented.
Requirements/Experience:
- 3 years of experience in RV, automotive, or related repair/service roles.
· Strong knowledge of RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
· Experience supervising or leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Knowledge of AS400.
· 2 years Forklift experience
· Valid and Clean driving record.
· Strong attention to detail, diagnostic skills, and proficiency with digital tools for documentation.
· RVIA/RVTI certification is preferred but not required.
