As a Commercial Roofing Project Manager, you will:
- Manage commercial roofing projects from pre-construction through final completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate material procurement and delivery schedules.
- Manage project costs, budgets, change orders, and overall profitability.
- Collaborate with Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, property owners, consultants, and general contractors.
- Conduct routine jobsite visits to monitor safety, quality, and project progress.
- Review project specifications, contracts, plans, and scopes of work.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, manufacturer specifications, and building codes.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, permits, change orders, billing, and closeout packages.
- Proactively identify and resolve project issues before they impact schedule or budget.
Qualifications
Required
- A minimum of 2 years of Commercial roofing project management experience.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems including:
- TPO
- PVC
- EPDM
- Modified Bitumen
- Metal Roofing
- Roof Coating Systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred
- Experience working with General Contractors and negotiated contract projects.
- Knowledge of manufacturer warranty requirements and closeout procedures.
