Gulf Shores Power Sports, located in Gulf Shores, AL and is one of the largest Power Sports and Marine dealerships on the Gulf Coast and we are now hiring a full-time experienced Service Advisor.
Service and/or Parts Experience in the Powersports, Marine or Recreational field is preferred, and strong communication and customer service skills are required.
Major of knowledge on "LightSpeed" POS System
Warranty Experience Major
The Service Advisor is the point of contact for the customers in the service department. They function as a liaison between the customer and technician for service jobs. They must be knowledgeable of the products to properly document the repairs needed. They need to have strong analytical and customer service skills. A good Service Advisor adds value by monitoring customers service intervals to set future appointments - adding service profitability while also prioritizing customer care. Service Advisor Requirements:
High school education or equivalent ,1-3 years of Parts and Service experience in Power sports, Recreational, Auto, or Marine industry is a Plus -Strong communication and organizational skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of diagnostics, estimating, and service management
- Strong sales skills with the ability to meet targets
- Mechanical knowledge to understand product issues and repairs
- Experience as a service technician is a plus
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures
- Attention to detail -Basic computer skills -Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
- Ability to prioritize, multitask and be extremely organized
- Supervise Service Technicians.
- Assist Service Managers when needed.
- Overseeing daily service operations, scheduling, and distribution of work for technicians.
- Scheduling routine service and warranty work.
- Placing orders with the Parts Department for work to be completed.
- Manage and ensure accuracy of unit and parts inventories.
- Ensure warranty claims are created, submitted and warranty payments received on a timely basis.
- Ensure products are meticulously detailed and unit deliveries are conducted in a friendly and professional manner as scheduled.
- Support a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 9- 5:30
