Gulf Sales & Supply is a fast-growing independent industrial distributor serving contractors, manufacturers, utilities, municipalities, and industrial customers throughout the Gulf Coast region.
We're looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative based out of our Mobile, Alabama location who wants more than another sales job. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving customer problems, building long-term relationships, and helping grow a company that is investing heavily in technology, people, and the future.
Unlike many distributors, we're not standing still. We've invested in a custom-built CRM and business intelligence platform designed specifically for industrial distribution, giving our sales team better customer insights, stronger opportunities, and less administrative work.
If you're currently working for an industrial distributor, construction supply company, safety supplier, fastener company, rental company, or MRO distributor and feel like you've hit a ceiling, we'd love to talk.
What You'll Do
- Develop and grow an assigned sales territory.
- Build lasting relationships with contractors, industrial plants, manufacturers, municipalities, and commercial customers.
- Identify new opportunities while expanding existing accounts.
- Work closely with our inside sales and operations teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Utilize our proprietary CRM platform to prioritize opportunities, manage customer relationships, and stay organized.
What We're Looking For
- Outside sales experience (industrial distribution experience strongly preferred)
- Experience selling industrial, MRO, safety, construction, fasteners, pipe, tools, or related products
- Self-motivated with strong relationship-building skills
- Professional, dependable, and customer-focused
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the territory
