What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator Mechanic position at Gulf Packaging?
The Machine Operator is responsible for performing various tasks to set up, operate, troubleshoot, and perform basic preventive maintenance on assigned corrugated package machines. Ensure the efficient running of the product through the machines with quality and safety standards set as a priority. Must have the ability to read tape measure, read job orders in English, apply concepts of high school level math. This position requires regularly and repetitively lifting or moving 25lbs or more. Must occasionally be able to push and/or pull, sit for long period of times, and frequently bend and twist.
