Key Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles, including pickups, flatbeds, trailers, and/or service trucks.
- Transport construction materials, tools, equipment, and other items to and from job sites.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and submit inspection reports.
- Ensure cargo is properly secured and transported safely according to DOT regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Report any accidents, injuries, or vehicle damage immediately.
- Comply with all safety, environmental, and traffic laws and regulations.
- Assist the field crews with general labor tasks when not actively driving.
- Perform basic maintenance (e.g., oil check, tire inspection) and coordinate service when needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid [State] driver's license with a clean driving record.
- CDL Class A or B license preferred (or required depending on vehicle type).
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours of service rules a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
