Registered Nurse - Home Healthcare

Job Overview
We are seeking a Florida-licensed Registered Nurse with at least one year of nursing leadership experience to join Gulf Home Care LLC., a home health agency. In this position, you would provide high-quality care to patients in their homes, as well as oversee home health aides with clients in order to promote optimal aging in place. Flexible scheduling is available for this position.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs in a home setting.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
• Perform medical documentation accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, medication administration, and home care techniques.
• Collaborate with home health aides to provide optimal patient experiences.
• Provide support for family planning services as needed.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.

Experience

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
• At least one-year of leadership experience in a nursing setting is required.
• Experience in home health care is preferred.
• Experience with people with disabilities is preferred.
• Familiarity with hospital medicine practices and laboratory procedures is advantageous.
• Strong skills in writing, medical documentation and patient education are essential.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
